Deborah Robinson
Director of Continuing & Professional Education

Deborah Robinson began her employment at Ocean County College in 1989 as director of Project CAREER, an off campus community career center. She was Director of Business Education and Training from 1989 to 2006. In 2007 Ms. Robinson accepted the position of Director of Continuing and Professional Education. Deborah oversees the marketing, sales, program development, and staff supervision at the Center, in addition to her oversight of open enrollment and programming for the community.

Her background is in assessing individuals' interests, skills, and aptitudes and in providing career counseling. She believes everyone should be happy in their occupation. This carries over to her desire to provide cost effective, needs focused, and customized employee training. The Center's business customers depend on their human resources for their business success and The Center for Business Education and Training is here to help.

Kathleen Baranowski
Coordinator of Customized Training

Kathy Baranowski joined the Center's staff in October of 2000. She has over twenty years in the Nuclear Industry as a manager of Medical Services, designing programs, organizing and instructing employees in emergency response, safety and wellness. She is a Certified NJ Teacher and has been an EMT Instructor for 13 years. Her many years in Medical Services and Adult Education have influenced her approach to providing customized training programs.

Kathy characterizes her customer relationships in the following way, "I believe in building good working relationships with my customers. I listen to their plans for development and understand the company's philosophy and standards. Finding the right 'fit' with the program, the instructor and the company, is a rewarding process. Working together, we create productive programs to support continuous improvement and employee development."

Wilma Galenko
Customized Training Technician

Wilma started her career as Customized Training Technician in May 2005 with the Center for Business Education and Training. Her background includes administrative support in the Facilities Engineering, Aerospace, Banking, and Telecommunications industries. Wilma spent 13 years of her career working for Lucent Technologies, formerly AT&T. In her role with the Center for Business Education and Training, she assists the Director and Coordinator in their office support and program coordination needs.
