EKG Technician

Electrocardiograph (EKG) technician is a growing career in the US, with new opportunities emerging right in your area. Our course prepares you to enter this emerging job market by covering topics such as cardiac anatomy & physiology, electrode application technique, operation of the EKG machine & other monitoring devices, and the fundamental elements of an EKG strip. After completing this course, you will be eligible to take the national certification exam through NHA for EKG Technician. The $117 exam fee is not included in tuition. Additionally, you will be eligible for 3 college credits towards an Ocean County College General Education Associate’s degree after completing this course.
