OSOL (50% ONLINE/50% ON-CAMPUS)

Onsite Online

Who should take an OSOL course?

For students near the OCC campus, our blended degrees and certificates offer hybrid courses that combine 50% face-to-face connections with the convenience and ease of 50% online learning.

For more information please view our OSOL flier.

Campus meetings are combined with working online.  Fifty percent of the online environment will include active discussions, quizzes, exams and assignments.

There will be scheduled Meetings on Campus. Meetings will be held every other week. Fifty percent of the on-site experience will cover lectures, labs and course content that you would normally find in a face-to-face class.

I truly love teaching a hybrid course.  As an instructor, I had to reassess the redesign of the course to fit the face-to-face and online goals when we are not meeting on Campus. Teaching my hybrid course was exciting, challenging and fun.
