Phlebotomists are in great demand as the healthcare industry is rapidly expanding!
Phlebotomists draw blood for tests, transfusions, research, or blood donations. Phlebotomists work mainly in hospitals, medical and diagnostic laboratories, blood donor centers, and doctors’ offices. Almost all employers look for phlebotomists who have earned professional certification. Our course prepares you to earn a credential as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician CPT through the National Healthcareer Association.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics, US Department of Labor, indicates that NJ has the 5th highest concentration of jobs for Phlebotomists. Further, they project the need for qualified phlebotomists will grow by 25% between now and 2026.
