Albright College

Ocean County College graduates are guaranteed admission into a Bachelor’s Degree program with junior status at Albright College on the condition that they: graduate from Ocean County College with an Associate in Arts (A.A.) Degree or Associate in Science (A.S.) Degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; complete a “Dual Admissions Intent” form; and satisfy all other Albright College transfer admission requirements.

Bellevue University

Bellevue University and Ocean County College (OCC) have partnered to assure that your associate's degree and other credits transfer smoothly to Bellevue University.

Berkeley College

Ocean County College students can achieve seamless transfer to the Berkeley College B.B.A. / B.S. Degree in Accounting, General Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Information Systems Management, Justice Studies, Health Services Management, and Human Resources Management.  

Colorado State University

CSU-Global offers a tuition discount for new students who earn their associate’s degree (or eligible certificate) at Ocean County College!  This discount will get you 10% off the standard tuition rates from your first class through graduation (guaranteed never to increase as long as you are continuously enrolled).

Excelsior College

If you are looking to build on your Ocean County College education and earn a bachelor's degree, master's degree, or certificate take a look at Excelsior College. Excelsior's partnership with Ocean County College provides graduates like you with a clear path to a bachelor's degree. You may just be a few courses away from a degree or certificate.

Fairleigh Dickinson University

Ocean County College participates in a formal articulation program with Fairleigh Dickinson University. The Burgundy-Blue Connection (B-BC), the program is available to any student who is currently matriculated or intends to matriculate at Ocean County College.

Franklin University

Most programs at Franklin University will accept the entire associate degree from Ocean County College and up to 20-24 additional OCC credits. Franklin University offers financial aid for eligible students.

Georgian Court University

Ocean County College participates in Dual Degree Agreements for five specific degree programs. Students participating in this dual degree program will be taking courses at Ocean County College that will expedite and facilitate their progress toward a bachelor’s degree at Georgian Court College.

Kaplan University

Ocean County College students who complete the AAS in Business, Paralegal Option can transfer to Kaplan University to complete the BS in Paralegal Studies.  Students who have completed their AAS degree can apply to the “advance start” baccalaureate program which makes them eligible for a block credit transfer and junior status. All Ocean County College alumni and staff are eligible for a 10% tuition discount.

Kean Ocean

Ocean County College and Kean University have established a partnership that enables area residents to complete selected upper division and graduate level programs on the campus of Ocean County College.  Visit Kean-Ocean for current scheduling information, advising guides, and upcoming information sessions.

Maritime College

Students who complete the Liberal Arts A.S. degree with a concentration in Science are admitted to the Bachelor of Science program in Marine Environmental Science. The Maritime College will accept up to 75 transfer credits from Ocean County College.

University of Maryland

U.S. News & World Report ranks the University of Maryland No. 19 among all U.S. public research institutions.  The University of Maryland offers more than 90 majors and 80 minors.

Monmouth University

Ocean County College students who complete the A.S. in Computer Science will be eligible for admission into the Monmouth University B. S. in Software Engineering, and Ocean County College students complete the AS In Homeland Security will be eligible for admission into the Monmouth University BA in Criminal Justice with a Concentration in Homeland Security. Monmouth programs permit OCC students a maximum of 72 transfer credits.

New Jersey Coastal Communiversity

Ocean County College is a charter member of the New Jersey Coastal Communiversity. The Communiversity is an alliance of eight higher education institutions offering undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs.

NJIT

Under our New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) agreement, you are admitted simultaneously to a selected associate degree program at Ocean County College and in a designated baccalaureate degree program at NJIT. Satisfactory completion of the OCC program results in automatic transfer to NJIT with full junior status--even the application to NJIT is waived.

Northwood University

Northwood University, West Palm Beach, FL, offers direct transfer to Ocean County College students with Associate Degrees in the following programs:

  • Accounting Computer Science
  • Administrative Office Management Food Industry Management
  • Banking-Finance Management
  • Business Administration Marketing
Paul Smith's College

Ocean County College students can achieve seamless transfer into the Paul Smith’s degree programs with the following OCC degrees:

  • Liberal Arts A.A.
  • A.S. in Environmental Science
  • A.S. in Business Administration
University of Phoenix

The University of Phoenix will transfer up to 72 Ocean County College credits from the A.A. or A.S. degree into a variety of Bachelor’s Degree programs.

Rutgers

Ocean County College is now a participant in the Rutgers Dual Degree Program (DDP). Through the DDP, Rutgers will offer any first-year student for whom space is unavailable at the state university the option of enrolling at a New Jersey community college of his/her choice. Upon completion of an associate degree at that institution, a DDP participant will be guaranteed admissions to Rutgers, provided the student has achieved a 3.0 grade point average in a recommended transfer program (RTP).

St. John's University

Ocean County College students with an A.A. or A.S. degree can now transfer up to 66 credits -- exclusive of any developmental or remedial work -- to the following schools at St. John's University: St. John's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the College of Professional Studies or the School of Education.

Saint Joseph's University

Students completing the A.A. (Associate in Arts) or A.S. (Associate in Science) may transfer 66 credits toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the College of Professional Studies, or the School of Education. 

A student applying without an Associate degree has his/her credits transferred to the best advantage provided they are applicable to the degree program.

snhu.edu

Southern New Hampshire University provides the traditional education you're looking for at a price you can afford. Transfer up to 90 credits toward your bachelor’s degree and receive 10% tuition reduction for partner college graduates, staff and faculty who enroll in COCE.

Stockton University

Students who plan their academic programs as defined by our agreement have the opportunity to transfer 64 credits into Stockton's B.A. or B.S. degree programs in Marine Science or Environmental Science, and BA or BS in Public Health with Options in Community Health Education, Health Administration and Environmental Health.

Strayer University

Ocean County College students earning the AS in Business Administration can transfer to Strayer University to pursue a BA in Business Administration and BS in Accounting, Economics, Information Systems and International Business.

The College of New Jersey

Ocean County College has developed an agreement with The College of New Jersey that guarantees admission of OCC students earning the AS in Engineering with a CGPA of 3.0 or higher to the BS in Engineering programs at The College of New Jersey.  

Thomas Edison State University

Ocean County College and Thomas Edison State College have created a partnership to offer adults in Ocean County the opportunity to complete one of five baccalaureate degrees available through Thomas Edison. Under the "Degree Pathways Program," an OCC graduate will be able to transfer immediately to a baccalaureate program at Thomas Edison where you can continue your education without leaving the Ocean County area. You may even apply up to 80 OCC credits to your Thomas Edison degree.

The University of the Arts

Ocean County College and The University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA, participate in a Direct Transfer Agreement in which Ocean County College students with A.A. Degrees in General Education with a concentration in Communications will be accepted as juniors into the B.S. Degree in Communication, Advertising Concentration, at the University of the Arts. OCC students are required to have a 3.0 GPA or a strong portfolio of work to qualify for this agreement.

United States Sports Academy

Ocean County College and the United States Sports Academy, Daphne, AL, have entered into an articulation agreement for qualified students to pursue a Bachelor of Sport Science degree in Sport Coaching and Sport Management. OCC students who have been awarded AA, AS or AAS degree by Ocean County College and graduate with a GPA of 2.0 or higher will be accepted into USSA with no application fee.
