NEWS & NOTES
OCC-FDU Scholars Program
Ocean County College and Fairleigh Dickinson University have established the OCC-FDU Scholars Program. With this program, a student will receive at least a 40% reduction in tuition at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck or Florham Campus in Madison upon completion of the associate’s degree.
Anthony Mastropietro, Director, Community College Partnership Fairleigh Dickinson University, will be available to meet individually with students to discuss the OCC-FDU Scholars program on Wednesday, April 22nd from 10:00AM to 4:00PM.
If you would like to schedule a 20-minute appointment, please contact Mr. Mastropietro directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Advising Office is excited to introduce an initiative underway at OCC. Student Planning is an online resource that will provide students and advisors the tools they need to plan and track progress toward degree completion. With Student Planning, you will be able to plan courses for graduation, register for courses, and even see how your credits would fit into a different degree program.
Student Planning is currently available to new students. Student Planning is scheduled to be made available to the entire student body during the fall 2015 semester.
If you started at OCC prior to Summer 2015, you will continue to use WebAdvisor to register for classes.
Students who cannot come to campus, but wish to receive academic advising, can schedule a virtual advising appointment. Please call 732-255-0300 to make an appointment.
