TOMS RIVER, NJ — The music of Elvis Presley takes the Main Stage when the Ocean County College Repertory Theatre Company brings their production of “All Shook Up” to the Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts from July 12 through July 21.
It’s 1955, and into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing young man who changes everything and everyone he meets. Loosely based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy will have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog,” “Jailhouse Rock” and “Don’t Be Cruel.”
Written by Joe DiPietro, “All Shook Up” is directed by Paul Chalakani and presented through special arrangement with and all authorized performance materials are supplied by Theatrical Rights Worldwide, 1180 Avenue of the Americas, Suite 640, New York, NY 10036. www.theatricalrights.com
