This program is designed to prepare students for careers in environmental science and related fields. Through a strong foundation in natural sciences, students are well-prepared to transfer to four-year institutions for further study or enter the workforce in a variety of environmental careers.

Associate

Build a solid background in environmental science, including ecology, sustainability, and environmental monitoring, preparing you for careers in testing labs, environmental research, waste management, and more.

Stackable Credentials

Alongside your associate degree, earn certificates in Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Sustainability, providing additional skills to protect natural environments and health while boosting your career prospects.

Bachelors

In combination with the AS Environmental Studies degree, you can transfer up to 82 credits into Kean University’s BS in Environmental Science, offering a streamlined path to further education. Other transfer opportunities are also available through OCC’s Academic Advising & Transfer Services.
