Welcome Back, Returning Students!
The Office of Disability Services uses a web-based software application called Accommodate to provide services to registered students with accommodations. The Accommodate self-service system is available with 24/7 access to all students who are registered with the OCC’s Office of Disability Services.

If you are an incoming or current student who is not yet registered with the Office of Disability Services but would like to request accommodations, please see the Request Accommodations section of our web site to initiate your request.

Request Your Accommodation Letter Every Semester
Your Accommodation Letter provides information to your professor about the accommodations you are entitled to receive. It is your responsibility to provide each professor with a copy of your Accommodation Letter.
It is advisable that you meet with your professors during their office hours to confirm that they have received your letter, discuss your specific needs, and ensure a mutual understanding of your accommodations. Accommodations are not retroactive; your accommodations will be effective at the time you submit a copy of your Accommodation Letter to your professor.
Scheduling an Appointment With Disability Services
Do you have a question about your current Accommodation Letter? Are you looking for resources to help in the classroom or for studying? Would you like a demonstration of Ally for Canvas or other adaptive software?
Students may schedule appointments to meet with Disability Services staff by contacting our office via email at accommodations@ocean.edu and indicating a reason for the appointment. Remember to include your OCC student ID number in all correspondence.
Appointments are available during office hours either on campus (one-on-one only) or remotely via Webex/Microsoft Teams or phone.
